1. What are the benefits of the new technologies (industrial machinery, feeding machine, closed circuit cameras) shown in the film? Who gains from these technologies?
The new technologies helps do the things faster. For example, the industrial machinery helps the workers do the work more quickily and efficient; feeding machine helps eating without using hands; closed circuit cameras can see which parts of the machines have problems. From these technologies, workers are not the ones who gain most, but the industry boss does. With efficient and fast production, the boss can sell more products and goods to the market.

2. What is the effect of these technologies on the main character’s life/mood/body?
With repeating of the same work, the main character cannot stop himself away from the action that he does in the factory. Whenever he sees button-like things, he starts to do the same things of what he does during working time, like woman's skirts. He repeats and repeats, making himself go mad, crazy, finally he takes revenge to the factory boss.

3. What effects does using computers and the internet have on your life/mood/body?

It's efficient and convenient to use computer chatting with people,especially friends that have gone to overseas to continue their study.We no longer need to go to library and search for information  for our presentation or essay assignment. We can do this everywhere by typing few keywords in the interent and a list of links comes out for us to select.Teachers and professors put the class notes or references in the net, so this also saves the class time. With the help of internet, the information can flow fast worldwide. The computer can help us organize the work in a tidy and organized way.

Although computer brings us so many benefits, it still has side-effects. People start wasting time by spending so much time searching in the net, or playing computer games. It also creates crimes. Hackers collect personal information from others' computers and use them illegally, like stealing $$$ by entering their bank accounts and passwords. Cyber-bullying is another issue that becomes an other important issues. People type hateful words in someone's blog that they hate most, causing stress, sadness or other bad effects to them. Furthermore, the information is not totally relevant related to what we need for our projects. We need to select carefully.
